The Real Challenge
Designing an intuitive interface that balances clinical precision with user-friendly workflows.

Home
I kicked off with a crazy sketch marathon—whiteboards full of wires! Then refined into a clean dashboard showing key KPIs. A bit of caffeine-driven pixel polishing later, it felt like design excellence (and I survived the caffeine crash).

Employees
Started with a basic list view—yawn. Iterated to card-style profiles with quick actions: message, assign, or high-five (virtually). Added subtle hover animations to keep spirits high.

Schedule
Phase 1: static tables—total snooze. Phase 2: drag-and-drop scheduling board with color-coded shifts. Extra credit: a cheeky tooltip joke: 'No zombies on night shift, please.'

Refined the drag handle after users complained it felt like moving furniture. Added snap-to-grid and congratulatory micro-interaction upon successful drop. Design win!

Prototype v1 forced a full form fill—painful. v2 introduced inline edits and real-time availability checks. A sprinkle of animation reassures users: 'Your slot is now tango-ing around.'

User testing flagged confusing date pickers, so I revamped with a scroll wheel style. Added a cheeky tooltip: 'Pick a date, any date.' Success rates soared.

Mapped patient journeys from first visit to follow-up. Iterated on card layouts to surface critical info first—because no one wants to scroll through salad days of history.

Branches
Started with a dropdown—no thanks. Switched to a map view with pins and branch details. A little humor: branch pins shaped like stethoscopes. So meta.

Add an appointment
Initial modal was a wall of text. Trimmed fields down, added smart suggestions (Dr. Smith is available!), tweaked form validation to show playful errors: 'Oops, did you pick the past?', and in final QA added an animated checkmark with a soothing chime—design excellence all around.

Global Search
Started with a basic search field—boring. Introduced fuzzy matching, quick filters, and a cheeky placeholder: 'Try searching for 'Dr. McDreamy''. Users found their items in a snap.
